Queen Embroidery Whimsical Sewing Sets

I loved the idea for this box. It took forever to make because nothing would go right. I made 6 pieces before I got even one right! I got the tiny chocolate candy beads that are on the thimble box from Shipwreck Beads. I am fortunate that Shipwreck is right down the road. Its a HUGE warehouse of beads, charms & findings. You need a map just to get around in there. Heres a picture of Shipwreck Beads from their catalog.

When I saw the mini chocolates I knew I loved them so bought 20. I'm sure Ill use them someday. it was so cute I had to get it.  Here's a picture of the waffle:

My favorite piece to the chocolate set is the pincushion with the chocolate covered strawberries.  They look good enough to eat.

This was the first set sewn with suede which I like because it doesn't fray and takes a denser design than the faux leather I've used.

Specifics  

The top of the box has a strand of blue ribbon with yummy cakes on pedestals.  There are 2 tags with many luscious desserts - tortes, napoleons, blanc mange, and cream cakes. There is a tag that says, "I never met a chocolate I didn't love."  The knob is a tiny dark chocolate candy.

Inside is a tag that says, "Chocolate...now we're Cookin'."  In one corner is a dish of fudge and in the other is another tag that simply says "CHOCOLATE."

Scissors Sheath:  3.25" x 5"    The scissors sheath has a yummy glass of chocolate mousse with a raspberry flourish.

Pincushion:  2.75" x 2.75"    This is my favorite piece - it is two chocolate dipped strawberries lying in a pool of chocolate.  They look good enough to eat!  There is a golden needle for good luck.

Needle book: 3" x 5"   Here is a trio of chocolate truffles - my favorite candy.  The needle book has 2 pockets on the inside in which to tuck your needle packets, seam ripper or other small items.

Thimble Box:  1.25" high x 1" in diameter    The thimble box has a trio of small chocolate candies on top.

Bonus:  Bonus items include a thimble, a tape measure shaped like a house and a small pair of snips in the scissors sheath.
